Upcoming changes to our Enterprise plans and replacement of classic meeting=
s

Dear OpenProject Community,  TL;DR
With OpenProject 16.0, scheduled for May 21, 2025, we will update our Enter=
prise plans that contain different levels of Enterprise support and=C2=A0a =
different set of Enterprise add-ons. Existing Enterprise customers will kee=
p their current features.
You may test new Enterprise add-ons in a trial.
Also, we will end the now outdated Classic Meetings. No data will get lost.=
  Today I want to inform you about important upcoming changes: Starting May=
 21, 2025, with the release of OpenProject 16.0.0, [1] we will update=C2=A0=
our Enterprise plans  =E2=80=93=C2=A0 Basic,=C2=A0Professional, Premium and=
 Corporate. All plans include different levels of Enterprise support, and e=
ach plan comes with a different set of Enterprise add-ons . The support lev=
els with remain unchanged. The pricing of the plans will also remain unchan=
ged.
Customers=C2=A0of current Enterprise plans (cloud or on-premises) or new cu=
stomers that will book before May 21, 2025, will keep the current plans=C2=A0=
 with all Enterprise add-ons currently released. You will not lose any feat=
ures.
Our Community edition remains untouched from these changes and will be free=
 of charge.=C2=A0There will be a lot of exciting new features also released=
 with 16.0 in the Community version. Even though=C2=A0open source does not =
equal free of charge, it is important to us to keep offering a comprehensiv=
e=C2=A0version that is completely cost-free. We want to be=C2=A0able to pay=
 our highly skilled OpenProject team and still enable organizations with li=
mited resources to achieve great things for the good of society.
With upcoming releases, some new Enterprise add-ons will be released in hig=
her plans. This means that existing Enterprise customers in lower plans wil=
l not automatically have all new add-ons. For example, we plan to=C2=A0rele=
ase internal comments as part of the Professional plan with 16.0. If you're=
 currently on a=C2=A0lower plan and would like access to this new feature, =
an upgrade to the Professional plan will be required.  How to test the new =
Enterprise add-ons?
If you're on a lower Enterprise plan*=C2=A0and want to test new add-ons fro=
m higher plans, there are currently two ways to try them:

Enterprise on-premises:* Contact our Sales team [2] to receive a new Enterp=
rise trial token.

Enterprise cloud:* Start a new Cloud trial [3] to test the latest Enterpris=
e add-ons.
We understand that you=C2=A0might have further questions. We have updated o=
ur Enterprise guide [4] =C2=A0accordingly. More information will follow and=
 we will soon update information on our website. Thank you for your underst=

What else changes for OpenProject 16.0?
Feature-wise we also want to inform you about the end of classic meetings ,=
 which is planned for OpenProject 16.0. The reason is that with the recentl=
y updated one-time and recurring meetings, the old classic meetings are out=
dated. Existing classic meetings will be transformed to one-time meetings a=
nd =E2=80=93=C2=A0apart from the meeting history =E2=80=93=C2=A0no data wil=
l get lost. Our colleagues from the product desk have explained this in det=
