We released OpenProject 15.0 with major improvements in the work package Ac=
tivity tab, and more.

Dear OpenProject Community,
OpenProject 15.0 brings more fun to your work! =F0=9F=99=82 The new look-an=
d-feel for the=C2=A0work package Activity tab [1] =C2=A0introduces emoji re=
actions among many other improvements.=C2=A0These latest=C2=A0updates make =
interacting within OpenProject both more efficient and enjoyable.
When you open the Activity tab of a work package in version 15.0, you will =
notice the new timeline design with a fixed comment field that lets you jum=
p right into the discussion. The new filtering feature allows you to show o=
nly comments or only changes, depending on what you are looking for. Plus, =
you can now select directly on the Activity tab whether you want to see the=
 latest updates at the top or at the bottom.
And speaking of great changes in the comments section of a work package: Yo=
u can now react with emojis ! =F0=9F=8E=89 Choose from eight emoji reaction=
s to show your agreement, love or disapproval without triggering a notifica=
tion.
But we are still not done with groundbreaking changes in terms of interacti=
on and communication in OpenProject 15.0: The notification center now provi=
des you with updated=C2=A0 notifications in real time , without the need to=
 reload. The same applies to comments in the Activity tab of the work packa=
ge =E2=80=93 enjoy a truly smooth user experience by receiving instant upda=
tes in OpenProject.
Besides these updates regarding interaction, there is more news coming with=
 OpenProject 15.0. Enterprise Cloud customers will greatly benefit from the=
 new administration interface for SAML and OIDC [2] , allowing them to set =
up Single Sign-On options for their users without having to contact the Ope=
nProject support.
Then, administrators can also globally enable permissions to view email add=
resses in autocomplete situations by checking this option in the new=C2=A0'=
Standard global role' that is automatically given to all users from now on.
